This bench looks great and works well in my family room for extra seating and especially for toy storage. The storage area is very large. Each kid has already used it to hide during hide-and-seek and both (elementary school aged) could probably fit in there together. But, we use it to store extra toys and crafts. While I only had to attach the legs, it was a little difficult to attach them appropriately. A couple legs were a little crooked (as I saw noted in other reviews) but I easily adjusted them and now they all line up. There was also a little bit of the smell noted in other reviews, too. I don't know if I'd call it gasoline-- but definitely a chemical smell. To me, it wasn't overpowering and I just let it air out a little and it was fine.
