I have this on my bed and it looks great with my quilt and my bedroom color. However I would suggest to turn it inside out to inspect the seams - if they are sewn too close to the edge of the material, VERY GENTLY wash by hand. For the price I did not expect such bad workmanship and one of the seams around the center frayed the first time I washed it. I am a good mender and was able to repair it - I can tell the difference, but nobody else can. Like I said, it is a lovely pillow, but beware.
