This chair broke within 6 months of use. The piece in the shaft at the base of the seat broke and now wobbles side to side. Note that I am of below average weight and did not put any added stress on the chair other than day to day use. Now I am back on overstock looking for another one and will spend a few extra dollars in the hopes of buying a chair that can last more than a year.
