The watch winder was every bit as attractive and functional as advertized ... it worked as well on batteries as on the adaptor. It looks elegant and VERY expensive. But I don't know about durability of the machine bec. I've heard from many people about their winders breaking down ... so far I haven't had any problems with mine, but time will tell. For now, I give it a high recommendation.
