Overstock shipped this armoire very quickly. It arrived in the same week that I ordered it and I was excited to get it. The box came with some indentations and holes which didn't look too major but I was concerned about possible damage. The piece was very damaged but it appeared that much of the damage occurred prior to shipping. The right side door was pretty much ripped off. In looking at the method of assemblage there was no way that the door was ever going to stay on. There were tiny, tiny little short screws trying to hold on a somewhat heavy door. I mean these screws were so small that they were almost the size you'd see on jewelry. The trim on the doors and come unglued and was hanging. In opening the top of the armoire, there was a lot of damage inside some of which looked like big staple marks, scratches and holes (maybe about 6 of them) that would need repair and re-staining.Well, I was really bummed because the piece was pretty and the price was right but I called Overstock and they were really nice. They said that UPS had ten days to come out and inspect it and if they didn't, I could just dispose of it. A bit of a hassle to dispose of it but all in all better than having to ship it back. I just wish it had worked out. The actual drawers and the storage area in the top were nice and the side doors would have held a lot of necklaces. Oh well. At least Overstock was nice to deal with. I guess I haven't checked to see if I was credited on my credit card for the purchase yet. Hopefully that went smoothly.
