The pillows are filled with duck feathers, are thin, have attractive stitching and have a barn red back that has ties so you can remove the pillow cover for cleaning. Though thin, they are very comfortable and spring back to shape easily. I've not had trouble with any feathers working out of the pillows. The fabric on the throw and pillows is enhanced by stitching. The throw is stiff and does not drape softly, but is warm and pretty due to the intricate machine stitching. Overall I like the pillows and throw and are a good value for the price. I would recommend it to a friend. I like to see the same product in more colors.
