These jeans are really cute. I wouldn't call them "flares" exactly. They are more in the middle of straight leg and wide leg. But I don't know what is going on with the sizing! These jeans would fit a person perfectly who had no butt, was thick in the middle, and taller than me! Fortunately, I don't have much of a butt and I have plenty of belts! The extra 2 inches of length can be overlooked with some enormous heels. But like I said, they look really cute. Since I can wear them with some modifications, I won't be returning them. But buyer beware!
