My husband chose this adirondack due to it's good looks, but now admits that it's terribly uncomfortable. The flat planks used for the seat and backrest do not conform to the curves of your body, like the typical adirondack does. Seat and back cushions are a must but are difficult to find for this chair. It looks great on our cabin deck, but we usually choose to sit somewhere else. Staining enhances its appearance greatly.
