My friend had a Chi Flat Iron and I was totally impressed with hers when I used it. I bought my own which included the dryer. The dryer works well, just not as fast as normal dryers, it just seemed to take a lot longer. The flat iron worked well but I still had a bit of frizz build up by the end of the night. This is my 4th flat iron and it is the best one I've had yet. My recommendation is to take very small sections of hair to flatten out --this will take longer but you'll have a better result in the end. Does leave hair very shiny and soft and stays very hot the whole time you are using it. The flat iron is a good buy, but you can do without the dryer.
