Just got this yesterday. I guess you get what you pay for but I can't recommend highly enough that people do not purchase this item. It may be adequate for a dorm but is not a good piece of furniture for an actual adult in a real home. It's very light and probably weighs half what the recliner it's replacing weighed. It's shoddy. The maximum recommended weight of someone sitting in it is 230 pounds, which seems low for a piece of furniture made for adults. The seat is not wide enough. If you are overweight like me or about 70% of the people in America you will not be comfortable in this chair. There is no support in the back which moves partially whether you want it to or not as soon as you sit down. The only recline position leaves you staring at the ceiling, which is not useful if you plan on sitting in this chair while watching television. One of the holes for the arm rest appears to have been drilled incorrectly or stripped before the chair was even sent to me. The bolt will not go into the hole even if the arm rest is removed from the rest of the chair. This is a very poor piece of furniture.
