I had *SUCH* high hopes for this bedding set! As a first time shopper on this site, I was happily surprised that I found exactly what I was looking for - a hotel style bedding set in white with heavy black embroidered stripes. The photo on the website was not close up enough that I could really get a look at the embroidery quality, so I took a leap of faith & ordered. I received my pkg. today & have spent the past hour debating myself - can I live with this quality? No I can't have this on my bed... can I? No, no I really can't... I really *want* to be able to keep this set, but the embroidery quality is so poor that I could never be OK with looking at this every day. I opened the pkg. & noticed a few threads fraying - not bad I thought, I can put some sewing adhesive on the end of the threads & trim it, no problem. Then I unfolded the bedding to find that that embroidery on parts of the duvet & both shams was completely un-even, fraying everywhere & had literally been done so badly that it's put pulls in the white cotton fabric all along both sides of the stripe. I am truly shocked that this bedding made it through any kind of quality control inspection & I'll be returning it immediately. I guess this is really a case of you get what you pay for, I will now be heading straight to the website that sells the original (at twice the price) & buying with the knowledge that their duvet will not unravel after it's 1st use.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. poor - made poorly, very bad quality embroidery - lines are not straight & thread is fraying
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? considering that the description did not mention embroidery quality, I guess it was accurate, although incomplete
