I was hoping for a classy, peep-toe shoe to wear with a little black dress with a gold accent, but the gold weave almost makes the shoe look green. The shoe is built well, and creates a nice silhouette, but the color and the sizing were a little off for me. I am usually a 7.5 or an 8, and for some reason, Betsey Johnson sizing doesn't work with my foot: a 7.5 is too small and an 8 is too big--friends have had the same problem.
