After being warned by others about pillow-tops becoming lumpy, and returning a "plush-firm" (which is an oxymoron) that sagged into a hammock after 2 weeks, we were ready to sleep on a table. Mattresses can be very confusing if you don't know the language. I've learned thru research that the "comfort or support scale" which goes from 1-10 can be misleading if you don't know what it means. The lower the #, the firmer the bed. The higher the #, the softer the bed. This is opposite of what I thought was true. The more "plush foam" you have on top, the more prone it will be to breaking down and sagging. I was a little nervous to go "extra firm". Even though I need firmness for my bad back, I also need a little cushion for my pressure points due to hip bursitis. So...I ordered the Bodipedic 2 in memory foam topper at the same time. (also from this site) This seems to be our best solution. We now can feel firmness under some cushion. If our memory topper wears out, we can toss it and replace it without having permanent indentations in our mattress. I also recommend getting a Cal King which is 4 inches longer than the King. My husbands feet hung over the end of the King, and he is 6'1. I also like the handles on this bed, it can easily be rotated (since beds are no-flip these days). The reason I give this 4 stars is because I feel the fabric on the top could be of better quality, but for the price and firmness it's not a deal breaker. Inspect your mattress upon delivery, and note any flaws if you want it replaced.I have had a very good experience with O.co. Their customer service is excellent, and I recommend buying from them if you want to save alot of money on a quality mattress.
