The quality is very good, and for the price I don't have to worry if the dog jumps on the bed (when I'm not around) and snags it. The colors are exactly as they looked on my computer, so perhaps some other folks’ screens just display the colors differently - but it's definitely a taupe and not what I would call beige. The dimensions are as discussed by a few other posts on here, meaning that they run a little small. My experience has been that few manufacturers make anything to a size you can trust 100% - and even if they do, most mattresses sold nowadays are substantially thicker than what would have been commonplace on the market 15 years ago. So, if you have a queen size bed (which I do) and if your mattress is anything other than paper-thin, then you should buy the king size set to adequately cover the mattress/box springs. The quilt/cover/whatever you call it is very thin, but if you sleep hot (again, which I do) then this will be perfect; it's just enough weight to not feel like you're only using a sheet, but not so heavy you suffocate in the spring/summer. I'll probably keep it on most of the year and use a lightweight blanket as necessary.
