Bright and loud best describe these speakers. Great for home theater. The sub listed in the specs is the H-100, a highly regarded sub in it;s own right, but I was sent the even larger and more powerful PL=200. Thanks! The sub is outstanding, but very large. The shiny piano like finish on the tops and bottoms looks great. These compare to speakers that cost twice as much. The surrounds are large and sound great even when used in 5.1 stereo. The center channel is very loud and clear. The only think lacking is pads for the towers to cushion them on a hard floor.
