tiny sharpener
 from California,  Dec 14, 2011

I needed a sharpener to keep on hand that doesn't require any skill or precision--just some type of device to have handy in the kitchen for the occasional resharpening of our knives and scissors. The description said it could sharpen just about any knife AND scissors but this is not the case. Beware--it dulls scissors and you can only sharpen wide serrated knives--not the finer type! It does an effective job on regular blades but be sure to pay close attention to the hard to see arrow showing which way to pull your blade through the sharpening groove. Now that we have this little device, I thought it was over priced but it is a decent size for tucking into a drawer and it has a good gripper for a flat surface.
