This being said, I fell in love with Peruvian jewelry after a vacation in Peru. In case you didn't read the description carefully, the silver is higher quality than sterling silver (.950 as opposed to .925 the sterling silver) and this is characteristic for most pieces of jewelry coming from that country. The workmanship of this necklace is OUTSTANDING: very intricate design made with a lot of skill. My stone was flawless: heavenly blue (::smiles::) with no golden tones as other reviewer mentioned. Yet I'm not sure Angelite is supposed to be golden at all. Maybe the light in which the reviewer looked at it was different. Very, very beautiful necklace - please pass my compliment to the artist!!
