I was not expecting a wonderfully made product for the price, but even with low expectations i was disappointed. I would never use this for a nice dinner buffet (such as the holidays). It looks really cheap, and it makes a horrible sound every time you open and close it (metal upon metal that goes on forever). It was like really thick aluminum. Thought about returning but not worth going through the hassle.
