It is a bit noisy with all of the beeps everytime it turns on/off. It works quite well, but the only negative that I can say about it is that the AC outlets are to close together. It has two AC outlets and they are side by side. That doesn't allow for two big plugs to be plugged in by eachother. For instance: I wanted to plug up my cell phone charger and my daughter's portable dvd charger and I was unable too, because the outlets were side by side and the plugs were pretty wide on each item.
