I am a very picky person when it comes to buying sheets. I have always used a 600ct and up but decided to try something different based on the reviews of this particular set. I am actually very happy with them but just a few FYI's on this product (it may be a pro for some and a con for others): the sheet itself is nice and warm and I'm usually a cold natured person (I used the sheet alone w/no blanket and was fine), they do wrinkle a bit but I feel that it's not all that unusual since they are 100% cotton, I have a full size bedw/a down mattress topper and purchased the queen size and I still had plenty of room left so it does fit deep mattresses as stated, I have only washed them twice so far and they are pretty soft, and lastly about the only thing that I dislike is that they don't really have a sateen finish to them or even feel like sateen, but again they are pretty soft and feel comfortable.
