i liked the way it looked. The gold was not shiny, it was like a brushed gold, and it was a more deeper gold.not as yellowish. probably because it was 18k over silver.The chain is definitely too dainty for the charm. i would probably wear it with another chain that was heavier. The stone to me does not look fake as a previous reviewer commented.
