I have previously owned heated cushions like this & had been very pleased with them. This one is of low quality, cheap components, not very durable. The control came apart witin 2 weeks leaving the unit "un heated". I did my best to put it back together, however, the seat does not provide a significant amount of heat & does not heat uniformly.There are similar products out there that DO work - My experience with this one was that it was just very low quality. Caveat Emptor.
