I recently began working at a supermarket bakery and needed ideas for "character" cupcakes. I actually checked this book out from my local library and "read" it in about an hour. This is purely a visual book -- a photo album of decorated items from different bakeries from around the world. No instructions -- nothing but pictures. And they are not assembled in the best of order either. If you are a visual person who can look at something and just do it, this book may work for you. But for others who like some direction, give it a pass.
