  I am very impressed with this bed. It is a VERY involved process putting this bed together, however. being a metal bed, I guess I expected it to be made up of a couple larger, welded pieces that just bolt together, but there are actually alot of small pieces and about five different kinds of hardware. Make sure you pay very close attention as you put this bed together, because the directions are not very detailed and if you bolt anything on backwards just when you think you're almost done you'll realize that the side rails don't line up and you'll have to pull the bed halfway apart again to fix it. (my wife and I learned this the hard way) In spite of this setback, the finished product is very sturdy, and has a really nice semi-gloss black finish. The bend only stands around chest-high to me, which is great for my 5 year old son because he feels like he's on a bunk bed, and I don't have to worry about him falling off and breaking his neck.   This is a charming little bed. My 4 year old daughter LOVES it! It was easy for my husband and I to put together and has already been played in for hours! Several notes to the buyer: you will need to spend about an hour ironing the fabric (which is worth it because it is so cute). And, the lower curtains don't stay up with the adhesive strips so you'll definitely want to put screws through the grommets to make sure the lower curtain stays up. We are SO glad we purchased this bed. Our daughter is too!

  I love this headboard. I am so glad I purchased it here instead of the furniture store! I was a little concerned when I saw the size of the box at first because it made it look smaller than what it actually was. But, once I put it together, it was perfect. Very sturdy and it looks great!
