With media items, the can take 1-3 business days to ship from our warehouse and 15 business days (or 3 weeks) for delivery, as stated on the product description page. I echo the slow shipping comments. Guess I'm spoiled by sites like Amazon where it's order today, ship today. Perhaps Overstock should consider beefing up the warehouse workforce and updating inventory control software? I placed an order on June 24 and it's still "processing" on June 28. I could have ordered the same item from Amazon for a few bucks more + sales tax and it would have been delivered either yesterday or today. I'm thinking a few bucks more is worth faster service.

I agree with the slow shipping complaints. 2 days ago, I ordered some electronics from Overstock and Amazon within 10 minutes of each other. Because I'm accustomed to free shipping, I didn't even look at the shipping duration during checkout of either site. My amazon package is sitting at my house right now. I just finished talking to an Overstock rep who told me that I'm looking at over 2 weeks to get my shipment. I don't buy the excuses that Overstock sells here. If amazon can get packages sent out of their warehouses quickly, and shipped quickly, why can't Overstock?? I just think it is internet suicide to not be able to get shipments out in a timely manner. On a side note, "many credit card issuers have policies against merchants charging a credit card account before shipment" (http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre28.shtm). My credit card has been charged, and hasn't shipped yet. Seems to be a little close for comfort.

That's interesting... I've found Overstock to have exceptionally quick shipping... The first time I ordered something from them, I received it even before I was notified that it had shipped, just a day or two after I ordered the product. The other time I purchased an Overstock product it also arrived within a few days. Also, I'm extremely impressed with their return process- it's smooth and simple and they even refunded the shipping cost which I was not expecting. Overall, a nice experience.

I ordered one book from your site and the shipping is Ridiculously Slow! I received an email that said that my order has been shipped on 7/19 and when I check the tracking number 10days later it still says that usps has only received information about the order, but you actually haven't sent it out yet! I expected at least my order to be send out by now! This is absolutely ridiculous! I regret ordering from you and will never do it again!

I was thinking about ordering the Texsport Lodge Square Dome Tent for my vehicle and I NEED it by 13 Aug. If it takes that long to ship somewhere in the US, then I have doubts about it ever reaching the east coast of Canada. What to do?

I completely agree on how slow overstock's shipping is. They shipped my item out last Tuesday, 6 days later I havn't gotten anything back. When I check the status, It says it left Pennsylvania On Friday, which is only 2 hours from NY. I don't know why it would take this long for a book to travel from PA to NY. When I contacted customer service through the chat option I felt like I was talking to a robot and not a real human being, because they had no idea where my book was and gave me the generic answer of "It should arrive 2-15 business days" This is the first and last time I'm shopping at overstock. Amazon will be getting my money from here on out

why would they send an email saying that the item (a jacket) has shipped when FedEx hasn't even received the item yet??? and i'm in the same boat as the guy above me who already got charged for the item when it technically hasn't been shipped yet. this is my first time using overstock and so far i'm not impressed. i got the "your item has shipped" email a week ago and FedEx is still processing it??? It's not even going to be cold by the time I get it!
