Returning Assembled Furniture

Purchased two bar stools. Once I assembled them, I noticed that the seat height was lower than specified and the color is black, not dark brown as specified. Would like to return but they are huge now, and I'm afraid disassembly might cause damage. Do you have a policy on this? Thanks.
