Is This A Joke?

"Our refurbished computers are guaranteed to arrive WITHOUT ANY defects" - Really? LMAO that's if the product you ordered ever gets shipped. I purchased one these refurbished desktops for a friend in another state who’s PC crashed. I placed the order on Weds November 30th. It happens to be extremely urgent it gets to her by Tuesday December 5th or Weds December 6th (early in the day) at the latest. And by urgent i mean if she doesn’t get a system to get back online by the end of the day on Weds December 6th, the work from home job she has will release her. I have been waiting 5 days as of Sunday December 4th for my order to ship, and now just so happens only a few days after my order was accepted the item became out of stock. The Irony here is that it's out of stock on overstock.com. Talked to "customer service" Friday December 2nd they said 'you ordered it well before we ran out' then i was told 'i can't say for certain that there is a unit on hold for you'. So i asked 'when will it be shipped?' i was then told 'well if not tomorrow (Sat December 3rd) it wont be shipped until Thursday December 7th'. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME... This is either an evil joke, or just flat-out incompetence on overstocks part, maybe its overstock that’s the joke. As you can guess it wasn't shipped yesterday (Sat December 3rd). The item still shows out of stock. So it’s obvious they don't have my item held. Very unprofessional least they could do is offer to upgrade me (at overstocks expense) to the next priced model up that has the same minimum specs, and next day shipping to the address i gave them. I am very, very, very disappointed at this point. I do not want a refund; i want the item i ordered or an upgrade and delivered within the allotted time. The original item i ordered would have made it in time. So i expect overstock to make this right. I will tell you the only reason i came here was because family and friends said overstock.com has them refurbished PCs’. 99% of the time i order Electronics from NewEgg or TigerDirect, i have never ever had an issue with those sites, their products or shipments. And before some customer service agent claims the item was sold-out before my order was accepted. That is not the issue for your companies delay in my case. What it is that that did this is your worthless random loss prevention flags? I do not need your website to randomly select my order for loss prevention double checking, that is what my credit/debit card company is for. On that note your worthless random loss prevention flags have actually cost me not only time, hassle and probably money. But possibly cost my friend her at home job. All because i trusted that my order would be handled professionally by your company. So it’s your move overstock what are you going to do to make this right?
