Do not buy their TVs.

I bought my first TV with overstock, a 47'' LCD, which was delivered promptly in 1 week. While I would have been ok waiting one week for a product that worked as advertised and in good condition, this was not the case. The display was SEVERELY damaged. And after a day with the run around on this product it was shipped, expidited I was told, and still took 6 days to arrive. To add insult to injury the FINE people at overstock are not able to offer any shipping that isn't an arrival window from 8am to 8pm. Ok so 2 weeks into this I receive my TV. It looks fine until you plug it in. There is a 1/4 in strip of pixels that runs from the top of the screen to bottom, directly in the center of the screen. On top of that Overstocks customer support answer is so sad, return the TV. The customer service experience, overall shipping situation, and faulty products... save yourself some headache... DON'T BUY THEIR TVs.

I must post that I Too purchased a tv from Overstock had an issue with it. They rectified this problem making me feel the customer comes first. Be patient. You will like the treatment and resolution.

I don't know the proper forum for this post, so I'm using this TV forum. I'm impressed that a real person representing Overstock reads and replies to the concerns of customers and offers solutions. This is rare indeed. I suspect hundreds of items are shipped out daily and mistakes will be a part of the quantity shipped, either by Overstock or the carrier. Also, I have purchased items locally, new in the box, and found damage only after opening the box and seeing the item. Thanks to all the Overstock folks for taking care of business after the delivery. No doubt your concern has saved many accounts and calmed many upset customers.

On April 26, I bought a TV from Overstock's website but the seller was game-na.com. In the completion of the purchase, I asked the TV be shipped to an address other than my home. After accepting the information on my credit card and charging my account, I waited several days to be notfied that it had been shipped. Finally, I sent an email to see what had happened to the order. I was informed by return email that they couldn't ship to an address other than the credit card billing address!! So I said I was sorry but that I couldn't take delivery and to cancel the order and credit my account. On May 16, I wrote them again since no credit had been issued. On May 23, I got an email saying that I was supposed to receive a credit back and could I give them my name that it was billed under. So I did that. Still nothing. I called the phone number several times, always a recording. I emailed several more times, still nothing. I did complain to Overstock's customer service and received a nice letter advising me to contact the FBI as there was nothing they could do. But I'll bet that game-na.com is still selling televisions on Overstock.com. I am furious!
