Story Behind the Art:

'My name is Wayan Dirga and most of my family members are carvers, a family legacy that has endured several generations. I developed by observing my parents and relatives at work every day. My inspiration comes from Balinese customs and traditions. Competition is hard here in Bali, even for expert carvers. This makes the life of the carver. It means that I must excel, so hopefully my art works will be accepted. I therefore appreciate any feedback that would improve my work.'
