I purchased this for my mother's birthday. She loved the packaging and the story behind the company. Her reaction to the taste and quality of the products made me so glad that I'd found the perfect present for her. I will definitely be back for more Bean Project products!

My mid twenties daugher was quite surprised and happy with this gift under the tree. She lives in VT and is a vegetarian and very health conscious as well as socially conscious. She was touched that her mom ordered something that would benefit needy women and was packaged in a environmentally conscious manner. She has not used it yet so I cannot attest to how it tastes however but I am betting it will be delicious and an easy meal for her to prepare.. I would definitely order this or a similar package again.

I love anything from the Women's Bean Project. It's a local organization (Denver, CO) that helps women return to the workforce. Plus, their soups, breads, cookies, are fun to make and taste exceptional. I would recommend them to anyone!

I bought this because I am a firm believer in helping people help themselves. Of course, there was also the fact that I've purchased food from this group before and have never been disappointed with the quality. This was purchased as a shower present but for some reason, never actually made it as a gift. It did, however, make a great meal for the shower itself. Even the prospective bride was pleased with getting experience the food quality with friends.

I have always been very satisfied with the products from Women's bean project. Not only are they healthy, flavorful foods, but it helps to support a great cause - helping women to earn money to support themselves. It's a win-win situation!

This is perfect. It is packaged for a lovely presentation, I am supporting a good cause and the recipient will be pleased that I chose a gift that is not just another knick-knack. I might not be Angelina Jolie, but I can help save the world, in my own way, one woman at a time...this is a good start. Well worth the money.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my mother who likes bean soup and cornbread. Very simple gift and it looks exactly as the picture does. My only gripe is the price is a little overboard, around $14.99 would be more reasonable for this product. However, I enjoy helping out worthy causes and felt that it was worth the money in this event. I am very happy with this product and I am sure my mother will enjoy it. VERY QUICK SHIPPING!
