This hand-crafted item and many others come from a third generation family run factory in mainland China. Their skills of hand-painting, hand-rubbed lacquering, and hand-tooling have been passed down for many generations. We are proud to support them in their quest to keep their age-old techniques alive for future generations. Many of the artists are hired out of semi-retirement to work from home training the next generation to become master craftsmen. These masters are highly respected in their craft and their culture which have survived through many Chinese dynasties and continue to produce valuable and desirable pieces for your home decor. Really beautiful screen - much prettier than picture. I ordered the white and have it in my hall to hide the air and heating vent. No assembly required and came out of the box in perfect condition.
I do like the screens very much. We needed to make an area of the playroom for storage, and hide messy sewing area. We ordered the Walnut stain, which appears quite red, more maple than walnut. After ordering 2, we found we needed 2 more to adequately hide the intended area. The shade of the stain varies quite a bit between the 4. The screens seem quite sturdy. They arrived in good shape and completely assembled.

I'm very satisfied with the Floor Screen. I have been looking for one for some time and this fits perfectly in my Sunroom. It was packed very well, shipped quickly and all I had to do was pull it out of the box and set up!

The honey shoji screen was delivered just a few days after being ordered. The packaging was very sturdy and the screen required no assembly. It it a delightful addition to our mountain cabin. It gives a look of privacy to the extra sleeping area. The idescription of the screen was right-on. Thanks.

There are great screens. I purchased 2 of the honey. They came extremely quickly, packaged very well, no assembly required. They are much better constructed than i though they would be. I purchased two to act as an alternate storage area in my bedroom as my closet space i do not have great closet space in my new apartment. A great value!
