• Decorative screen is crafted from durable, lightweight Scandinavian spruce, with Asian-style mortise and tenon joinery
• Shade is made of strong, fiber-reinforced, pressed pulp rice paper that allows diffused light and provides privacy
• Lacquered brass, two-way hinges allow panels to bend in either direction
• Screen measures 24 inches high x 36 inches wide x 0.75 inches deep

This hand-crafted item and many others come from a third generation family-run factory in mainland China. Their skills of hand-painting, hand-rubbed lacquering, and hand-tooling have been passed down for many generations. Many artists are hired out of semi-retirement to work from home, training the next generation as master craftsmen. Their craft and culture have survived many Chinese dynasties.
