Story Behind the Art:
I prefer to design and craft jewelry myself, and I wanted to make something different from what you find in the market. So I bought a book about making jewelry and the processes. I started from the beginning. It was so hard at first, and it took me long time to finish my first piece. When I knew the basics and the process, I started to design by myself. Finally, in September of 2005, I opened my own small shop.
The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in design and sizing. Subtle variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities. Measurements may vary slightly.

A lovely ring. I ordered the carnelian ring first and then purchased the turquoise ring. It is a large ring and I bought it for a right hand ring to complement outfits which it does famously. It especially accents a flowered outfit with turquoise coloration. I cannot discern any difference from the open area on the nside of the ring-- it is just as comfortable. I very much like supporting artisans from different countries and have now bought several pieces from NOVICA. It is well made and very unique. It garners attention when worn. I really enjoy the world jewelry collection offered at Overstock.
