Story Behind the Art
'My name is Komkrit Sitthiprasert but everyone calls me 'Tui.' I was born in 1968. I originally started studying car mechanics, and received my bachelor degree from a teacher's college in the capital. After graduation, I got a job in a car magazine, writing about things people don't usually know about cars. I worked there for about ten years.
In 1997, Thai economy suffered and the magazine I worked for could no longer employ me full time so I had to find something else to supplement my income. My girlfriend and I started selling women's clothing, including jewelry that would suit the clothes.'
The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in design and sizing. Subtle variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities. Measurements may vary slightly.

I ordered these earrings to go with a turquoise necklace that has the black striations and they match perfectly. Only problem I found, was that the sterling silver was very tarnished when they arrived. The packaging was very classy--they were in a box made out of paper with a leaf on top and the earrings were attached to a little pillow. Since they were tarnished, I am happy to report that with a little elbow grease they did clean up pretty good.
