I purchased this for a very small bedroom with an asian theme. We painted the top with black gloss paint to match the rest of the room and it looks very nice. The original color of the top is fine with an crackled type finish. We were able to maintain this interesting looks with the light coat of black paint. I am very happy with the purchase. This is a short piece of furniture but well suited for the small bedrooms many homes have for kids.

Made of solid wood. No assembly required! Looks great as end table to my sofa and goes so well with the other Asian items I have purchased here. The 3 drawers make handy storage for small items also.
