The Story Behind the Product
Yogesh Kakkar is a Delhi based artisan who makes white opal pendants and other jewelry items. It has been a family business for him. His father settled in New Delhi after India's Independence in 1947. 'Our ancestors were in this profession. My father learned from his father and so on,' he says. Yogesh credits himself for expanding his families business. Besides the opal pendant he makes all sorts of jewelry items with or without semi-precious stones. He says it can take over a day to make one pendant. He lives with his wife and two school going daughters.

These earrings are very, very beautiful. The workmanship is excellent, so it is a good value for the money spent. Even though the earrings are very dainty in size, they make a big impression.
