The Story Behind the Art

These items are made in a small studio in Tivon, Israel, owned by Avihu Zur, a master craftsman, painter, organic farmer, gourmet chef, and father of five. Avihu's studio employs many talented jewelers, including Bedouin women who come from nearby Arab villages. Avihu is known for his pioneering and superior quality craftsmanship with roman glass jewelry and sells to fine galleries on four continents. The silver used in this jewelry is also 90-percent recycled. Needless to say, the 2000-year-old roman glass shards are also recycled!

The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in design, weight, and sizing. Subtle variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities. Measurements may vary slightly.
