The Story Behind the Art

This jewelry is made in the studio of renowned Yemenite Israeli jeweler, Ben Saadya whose studio is in Raanana, Israel. Ben learned his craft from his father, who learned from his father, going back many generations, before the family moved to safety in Israel from Yemen. Yemenite filigree is a famous technique which braids together extremely thin threads of silver or gold. The silver used in this jewelry is also 90-percent recycled. Needless to say, the 2000 year old roman glass shards are also recycled.

The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in design and sizing. Subtle variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities. Measurements may vary slightly.
