Based in the village of Zenabwork, Ethiopia, artisans set out to re-imagine and redefine the traditional Ethiopian 'selate shoe', or rubber tire sole shoe, in dynamic and vibrant new fashions. Employing the highly marginalized people of Ethiopia, the artisan intends to create something that is authentically local, but with a truly universal flavor. With a unique sensibility, they use the traditional Ethiopian art of hand-spinning and hand-looming organic cotton into the finest, artisan-crafted footwear.

I was impressed with the looks of the sandal but was unable to rate the comfort because they were so huge! I normally wear a size 9 in most any shoe I buy, esp. sandals, flip flops, etc. The size 9 I received was more like a Mens size 9 or maybe even a 10. The overall appearance is not really very feminine, even taking into account they are camo.When I filled out a return request, the company attempted to charge me $6.23 to return them. Only after protesting the charge during a conversation with a CSR did I get the return shipping charge waived.I spoke with the CSR via the online chat. That is a very cool feature that I do like.......much better than holding on the phone as you do with other companies. I'm an Overstock fan and will continue to purchase products through them.
