Asian Crafts items are handmade in the rural suburbs of Kathmandu, Nepal by several different artisans. While some work in shops most of them work out of their own home. There are around 20 families that benefit from the orders received through Worldstock. Dipak Tuladhar, an artisan himself has been able to sponsor and fund several Modern Newa-English Schools which the main objective is to teach the local Newar children in their own mother tongue (called Nepal Bhasha) so that the teaching will be more effective than using a language (Sanskrit and Khas language) that children do not understand well.
Dipak is thankful with the opportunity Worldstock has given him and his family.

I bought this bracelet thinking that it would be nice to wear on occasion, but it is so pretty that I can wear it with almost any casual/office outfit. The amethyst is really very pretty and complements blues, reds, browns, etc and the silver blends with white gold. I've lost some weight and the bracelet ends will bend, but not show bend areas or create 'fault lines'. I have recommended this beauty to all my friends, associates, and clients who've admired it (and there have been several).
I recieved this bracelet today, it's very pretty but the stone doesn't look as though it's evenly set. It also came very dirty and the nooks and crannies are difficult to clean. However, I really do like it and think it's a reasonably priced item. It fits nicely and adjusts nicely, would probably work best on someone with smallish wrists.
Fabulous! I collect Celtic cuff bracelets, but because this had my birthstone on it, and looked so beautiful in the picture (and was on sale!), I decided to order it.It was better than what I anticipated! The stone is absolutely gorgeous, the carving on the outside and the inside of the bracelet is exquisite. I am very happy I ordered it and would recommend to anyone who loves cuff bracelets that are beautifully handcrafted. Am really, really happy with this choice!
