The goal is to improve the economic status of artisans and their families, trusting that the artisans will make good decisions and use their income for improved education, housing and health care. The increased prosperity will have ripple effects in their communities. Independent artisans whose quality of work is notoriously better than the average are employed and paid on a per-piece basis, with them setting the price.

I love this bracelet--chunky, expensive looking, sturdy, and just the right size (I have small wrists). It'll look even better after the silver oxidizes a bit. The only negative is the clasp. I'm anxious about it's security. I may see if a jeweler can do something clever to make it more secure.

This is a beautiful bracelet, lays nice on the wrist and has a nice feel to it. I get compliments whenever I wear it. Goes with EVERYTHING from that little black dress to your comfy blue jeans. A must have!
