'My name is Anchalika Chamnan, I come from northern Thailand. My aunt works in the textile trade. She began by buying textiles from people and selling to others. But about a year after that, she started to design her own textiles, transforming them into different types of work. She needs many people to help her, so I am here to help her out. I am glad that we will have the chance to display our work to the world. To show more work is not only a channel for us to earn more, it means we can have the opportunity to support people from our village by offering them more work.'

I really love this bag! It it so unique and beautifully detailed, and I love that it is handmade. It took a while to get it, since it was coming from Thailand, but when it came it was beautifully wrapped and well worth the wait. Because it is handmade and somewhat delicate, I don't think that it is meant to be for everyday use, but it does make a unique addition.
The purse is absolutely adorable yes! Just as pictured! However, on the first day I got it, I already lost the beads. I have had it not even a week ... and one side of the gold string/ rope that wraps around to make the handle of the purse where the beads are UNRAVELED and it looks awful now. I saw where the maker just glued it on and that glue is not good at all. I am not rough or anything with the purse so due to normal wear and tear for the long run, I can see where it could come off. However, again, I have only had it for less than a week. I dont know what else to think or even expect as to what is going to happen now to the purse or what else will break or come off. For the price, not worth it at all because poorly put together ... poor construction.
I love this bag. However, shoulder bags are often uncimfortable. Also, the material looks as though it will not take hard wear.
However, I bought it for casual dinner occasions, and it is great for that.
