Since the 1990s, Javier Gutierrez and Efren Canteras have worked together to preserve Mexico's blown glass artistry. 'This type of work is a beautiful craft. I love blown glass because of the pure imagination poured into every piece created,' confides Efren.

I chose the six tall cobalt spiral wine glasses as a wedding gift for friends in France. I gave the glasses as a wedding gift. I was not able to actually handle or see them in person but the person I gave them to was present via webcam at her shower when she recieved them and she held them up. We all really loved them. Her comment was that they were nice and heavy, not thin and flimsy like a lot of wine glasses. My only complaint is that when I sent them there was no "gift" provision such as a card to send with the package. I ordered them in the past for a wedding gift and I will be ordering them again for another one that is coming up.
