Story Behind the Art:

Gelacio Giron is an artisan with a long and exceptional career in handicrafts. He moved to Lima as a teen to study accounting and showed a talent for arts while in school. He began to sell woodwork and painted glass through an artist cooperative and now proudly shows his designs in craft fairs. In 1997, he formed a crafts association dedicated to Peruvian arts. Working with his three brothers in his own workshop, he strives for beauty and quality in each piece they create. 'I feel very content when I think of how my work is appreciated in people's homes both inside and outside Peru. I share this happiness with my family.'

The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in design and sizing. Subtle variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities. Measurements may vary slightly.
