Story Behind the Art:

This is a Fair Trade product, handcrafted by artisans in India. These are made by a group of landless laborers in northern India, who were unemployed after farmlands were converted into urban areas. This art is now giving their life and future a beautiful artistic turn. Fair Trade practices ensure fair wages, no child labor, equal rights for women, preservation of traditional arts and development opportunities for these underprivileged artisans.
