    Story Behind the Art

    These votives are handmade out of 100 mango wood. There are many artisans for this product as well as many other Indonesian products. For these wonderful votive set, a small village in a remote area in Bali, Indonesia handmake these and sell them to us (importer) so that the money that is made helps support their living, family, and expenses. The village depends on us (importers and consumers) to purchase these votive sets to help them survive, be able to help raise their children and hope that they have better lives. The area is very poor but the people are very happy and content with what they have taking nothing for granted. They don't need more or less to survive.

    What is Worldstock?

    The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in design and sizing. Subtle variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities. Measurements may vary slightly.

I use these all in a single line down the center of my dining table. They are solid mango wood, a bit rustic but they add to the natural wood decor of the room. they also look great with the clean, modern lines in the living room if i use them for additional mood lighting for a party. i would recommend them for anything but traditional or country decor.
