Aiming to market such products and improve the quality of life of the tribal people, in 1973 the Baptist Christian Service Foundation sponsored the creation of 'Thai Tribal Crafts,' a grass-roots, non-profit and self-sustained agency operating under the principles of promoting fair trade, preserving traditional arts and crafts of tribal people, and providing advice and training for the producers, in the areas of quality control and design. Today, thanks to the efforts of the Thai Tribal Crafts, hundreds of families are earning a supplementary income, improving their nutritional balance, education and medical care, having a lesser dependency on the agricultural activities.

I have almost always kept a Journal, and so I ordered these to keep more writing in. I leave and write books for my children and my grand children, for after I am gone. I find this so wonderful. I use Caligraphy pens, and oh my word, it's so beautiful. One thing, be careful of what sort of pen you do use, it may run or seep through. The pages are like cloth and paper at the same time. Highly Recommend these!!
