This is a Fair Trade product, handcrafted by artisans in India. Sham covers are handmade using hand-block printing. Artisans carve these patterns on a wooden block and then stamp the block to leave a pattern on the fabric. This is a traditional art of this region.
These are made in rural communities in Northwest India. Fair Trade practices ensure fair wages, no child labor, equal rights for women, preservation of traditional arts and development opportunities for these underprivileged artisans.

These pillow shams look amazing. They are fair trade and hand block printed. I love them. The only bad thing is that the material is not very soft. I have two sets of pillows and use these just for looks. I use my soft covered pillows to sleep on. The material is just slightly scratchy, but I tend to like things extra extra soft. I've never seen any other pillowcases like these, so I just had to have them when I saw them. I highly recommend these, get them!
Loved these Pillow shams. My husband likes to keep his pillows on the sofa. With these pillow shams there is no longer an issure.
I bought these pillows for my son's room..he is returning home from college and I wanted to give his room a more modern , crisp , and clean look..the pillows are just right for the room and a good value for the money.
