The Story Behind the Product:
Chinese ceramic stools date back to the Ming dynasty. Our garden stools are 100-percent handmade by high fire process. The color of glaze will not fade or change. They function as an extra seat, foot rest, small table, plant stand, cocktail table, etc.
Made in Jingdezhen (Jingde Town). It has been termed the 'Porcelain Capital' because of its production of quality china. It has a 1700-year-old history of china production. There are thousands of workshops in Jingdezhen, generation after generation.
The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in design and sizing. Subtle variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities. Measurements may vary slightly.

My husband uses this as a stool when he puts on his shoes in the morning. We have a shoeless apt, so shoes are kept by the front door. We have a small entry, and I've been looking for the perfect stool for awhile. This is sturdy and lovely and a great value. A perfect match with our Asian decor.
This is the second stool I have ordered from Overstock. The quality is very good. I have priced garden stools at other retail stores and this price is much below what you will find at retail stores. The color is not red, it is more a burnt orange. It still works with my decor. I have it in a hallway, using it as a side table next to a chair. I have had many compliments on it. People really notice it when they walk into our home. Everyone asks me where I got it. I would highly recommend this product. It was packed very well when shipped and arrived undamaged.
It's gorgeous! Very well packaged, not a nick on it. I use it outdoors next to my goldfish pond and it fits great, Eventhough the colours are a bit orange, it doesn't clash with all my reds out there. Will buy another one!
I bought two of these porcelain stools to use as stools/end tables on my patio. They are absolutely beautiful! Great quality, nice painting. They arrive very nicely packed, safe and sound. I compared the price to other online stores and these were a great deal!
This porcelain stool is beautiful and very unique. I have seen some in stores that are very plain or have some design but not with this true oriental design. I have researched similar products online but they were much higher in price!This was a very good price for such a high quality product. The stool is very substantial - I needed the help of my husband to lift it out of the box - there is enough weight to it that it would never easily tip over.This stool will look terrific in our dining room with a plant on top it!I am very happy with this purchase and would not hesitate to recommend it to someone else.
