Hand-finished and hand-carved by Chinese artisans, this unique accent piece adds rustic Asian flair to any room.
This factory is located in the Guangdong region of mainland China. The father is the main person in charge and employs many family members. Day to day operations are run by an aunt while the son is being groomed to take over once his father retires - all of this family greatly adds to the quality and productivity of this factory. Over 300 skilled and non-skilled craftsman work together, passing knowledge and craftsmanship from generation to generation. The working conditions of this group are excellent. The factory provides an excellent lunch each day for the staff. I am very pleased with the quality and workmanship of this item; no issues whatsoever -- it is a very dark brown matte finish -- recomend it highly. It arrived quickly and was packaged securely. Looks great in my hallway. I use it to store gloves in the drawer and scarves in the bottom section which frees up space in the hallway closet..
Is quite well made, even though wood could be of better quality.It definitely serves its purpose. Since it comes fully assembled and is well packaged, it's easy to unpack and place.The color is pleasing and the presence unobtrusive, and I would recommend it for storage of small items which would other wise clutter your space.
Purchased as a bedside stand in the master bedroom. Bed has high mattress and the height of the table is a perfect fit. It is a solid, well crafted item. I found no flaws (and I did look !) Able to store bedsheets in the cabinet. I have never received an item packed as securely as this was...corners, drawers, even the cabinet pulls were protected. It was even placed on a mini pallet. Arrived faster than expected in perfect condition. I could not be happier with this purchase.
This small cabinet is what we needed in our Asian inspired foyer. It arrived promptly, in excellent condition and exactly as described. For the price, it was a good value.
I was leary about purchasing this item because it looked like it was mostly grey. Not to worry. Something is wrong with the photograph. I was thrilled when I opened the packing. The altar is a very refined, understated, RICH , DEEP, DEEP, ROSEWOOD color. The construction is excellant. I love my altar and will cherish it for many years to come.
